    Welcome to an Egyptian Musical immersion followed by an exclusive Desert Safari adventure. Enjoy a spiritual journey of dance, drumming and discovery from Cairo to the vast Egyptian desert, hosted by Keti Sharif. 

This is a journey of a lifetime guided by one of Egypt's top desert explorers and photographers, joined by a leading Egyptologist and astronomer.

 This rich, musical mystical and cultural immersion begins in Cairo, four days of dancing to live music, and continues with a soulful 7 day expedition into the desert, with several days camping under the night sky with a rare stellium of six planets in the constellation of Aries, which is also Amun Ra.

PART 1: CAIRO MUSICAL JOURNEY
April 8th-11th 2026 (4 days)

Egyptian Dance and Dof (frame drum) classes daily, bus leaves from Zamalek daily:



    Day 1: Saiidi & Sufi Ensemble in the Garden, Music museum, evening Zaar Experience

    Day 2: Classical Orchestra and performances with band, Market Bazaar in Evening 

    Day 3: Pyramid & New Museum Tour, Modern Cairo Shaabi class, Evening Dance Club

    Day 4: Walking Tour Islamic Cairo, Coptic Cairo, Sunset Felucca sailing with Drumming

PART 2: AMUN RA DESERT SAFARI
April 12th-18th 2026 (7 days)


    Day 1: Drive to Baharyia oasis, evening BBQ dinner in desert, Bedouin music 

    Day 2: Sunrise meditation, walk in the Desert, Desert excursion and camping, food courtesy of Bedouin chef, Evening drumming and dancing under the stars 

    Day 3: Explore the Western desert of Egypt, Evening dinner, drumming & dancing

    Day 4: Desert adventures, evening sacred Scorpion and Lotus Dance, Night camp
    
Day 5: Djara Cave drumming & sound healing, evening dancing & Bedouin music
    Day 6: Return to the Oasis Lodge for hot water springs and cool pools
Day 7: Relax day at the ecolodge - local walks and site-seeing of Alhaiz Oasis
Day 8: Breakfast at Oasis, head back to Cairo

    5. Dancers, i    f you wish to partake in the desert performance, the two dresses (red and white) and head pieces are available at $60 USD each ($120 USD) and will be brought to Egypt for you - but you must order by Sep 1st 2025. Buy here.

    Note: Participants must book their own flight to Cairo, and accom for the musical Part 1 - there is a daily bus pick up from Zamalek, so it is advised to stay between Zamalek and Downtown Cairo.

    Airport pick up is included.
